Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

Trust in this Covid – 19 pandemic situation, you and your family members are safe and healthy. Along with safety and health of our students and staff, continuation of education in safe, supportive and stimulating environment is our top priority. The college has fostered online Teaching – Learning process. The online exams for the final year students have already started.

I appreciate the students, teaching, non-teaching staff and the management for their positivity and flexibility in approach during this testing time.

This is a very crucial phase for the students as well as for the teaching staff. In a very short span and the limited available resources, the teaching staff could successfully cope up with the technology for conducting online lectures, content creation, presentations etc. The students are now expected to learn through the online platforms. No doubt it is a challenge but it is the life skill enhancing education, where you practically learn how to face the difficulties and how to overcome it.

Last year the college was conferred with the Autonomous status. This is the First year of the college under the Autonomous status. The college has opted for the progressive autonomy. The Board of Studies and Academic Council of the college have suggested for the revision of syllabus for the Semester I and Semester II for all the under graduate courses. The objective was to make the syllabus more practical and job oriented.

Anticipating big challenges during the academic Year 2020-21, we need to learn to live the disciplined life with social distancing. We need to be careful about the physical as well as mental health.

Hope in the near future, our scientist brothers will come out victorious with the solution to this Covid-19.
