About Program
M.Sc. Finance was introduced by the University of Mumbai in 2013 with the intent to create a pool of globally competitive finance professionals having internationally benchmarked skills and capabilities. With Mumbai fast emerging as an International Financial Centre, there is growing demand for finance specialists.
The Masters of Science in Finance course is structured to deliver a strong foundation in the principles and practice of finance, and the analytical tools and skills to form a sound basis for financial decision making. The course combines rigorous academic work with real-world relevance and practical application to ensure that content is intellectually demanding. Students are provided comprehensive training by way of interactive discussions, projects, presentations, hands-on practical training, internship and placements. The course has been especially designed to create finance personnel with distinct skill-sets.
