ET Edge is an initiative of The Economic Times to build global business intelligence through engaging forums that would focus on key sectors and domains, which would establish themselves as Knowledge and Networking Platforms.
ET Edge was launched in 2013 making its foray through domestic conferences. It has now steadily moved into new formats not just covering knowledge sharing platforms such as conferences but also includes exhibitions, community building and more.
While ET Edge is well established in the domestic market with expertise in sectors panning Infrastructure, Education, Technology, Retail, BFSI and Telecom amongst other sectors, it is also expanding geographies by building initiatives in Southeast Asia and is covering new segments including the government segment as well as the B2C segment.
ET Edge conferences are primarily B2B platforms which bring together industry heads, vertical experts, academicians, government, visionaries and thought leaders for insightful conversations which aid in drawing the blueprint for policy changes and giving directions to these critical sectors. Delegates at the conference are key management personnel and decision makers who further enrich the gatherings with their crucial insights and vast experience.

Round 1 - Video CV (Request the students to send 30 secs video)
Round 2 - Group Discussion (in-person)
Round 3 – Personal interview (HR & Team Head level)
Round 4 – Personal interview (Head HR & CBO level)
Role – Delegate Sales
Excellent communication skills to ensure confidence while selling to C- Level executives.
To identify qualified prospects and effectively present the key features and benefits of our projects and secure their participation as delegates.
Lead and Market Research for respective events.
Should be able to reach decision makers over the phone.
To generate maximum revenue on any given event.
Good negotiation skills.
To initiate and maintain timely follow-ups with new clients under minimal supervision.
Follow up with clients for outstanding payments.
To meet or exceed personal targets.
To meet or exceed call time rate.
To work with the conference producer and marketing manager for optimum sales technique and marketing focus.
Building client relations for future business.
Internal – Work closely with various departments
External - Industry Associations, Media, Ministries, NGOs and Corporate (for sponsorship)
